Spring is in the Air
Good morning! This is a project that I created for a Shoebox Swap that I am going to today! I know some of you are asking what is a Shoebox Swap. A shoebox swap is when you design one card and then you cut the paper for as many people that will be swapping, bring all the products used to create the card in a shoebox or other box. So in my case there will be 20 stampers so I will cut cardstock for 19 stampers (I already made mine!) to create the card that I designed. Everyone else does the same thing, so when I get there the fun starts! I'll have a fun-filled day of stamping and chatting with some new people I have never met while I create 19 cards!

Pick a Petal
Spring is in the air today so that was my inspiration for today. I have been trying to get the Late Night Stampers Design Challenge done for some time now so I finally completed it! The challenge was to use Flowers! Now that is right up my alley!
Do you just love this flower? Pick a Petal is just such a fun set to use when you want to make some lovely flowers. You can easily incorporate some of your beautiful lovely Designer Series Papers or you can use ink to create your own beautiful design! I also used the Sweet Little Sentiments set, which has become a go to set for me lately.
It was really hard to get a photo to show the depth of the two layers of petals, but I think this one showed it the best! I have two layers of dimensionals one between the two layers and one between the flower center. I'm really loving the dotted Designer Series Paper!

Kindred Spirits
Just returning from sunny Orlando from a spring break trip with our extended family! What a wonderful trip for the soul! I think the sun makes every little thing better! This is a card that I created for the Birds of a Feather challenge over at the Late Night Stampers group that I belong to. It was one of my last challenges as one of the First Quarter Design team members.
